Step off the ship in Tangier and head straight for Chefchaouen, Morocco’s famous blue city, where every alley begs to be photographed. After wandering the cobalt streets at your own pace, the route climbs into the Atlas Mountains for a scenic drive before settling into a cozy hotel for the night — the perfect warm-up before the Sahara.

Sahara Day
This is the day you came for. Jump into 4×4 jeeps for an off-road run across the dunes, then swap wheels for camels as you trek out to watch the sunset over the Sahara. Once the sun’s down, it’s sandboarding, live music, and dancing under a sky full of stars before bedding down at a traditional desert camp.

Wake up early for a sunrise ATV ride across the golden dunes, then settle in for a scenic road trip through the Moroccan countryside as you make your way toward Marrakech. By the time you arrive, the city’s color, noise, and energy are impossible to miss.
Hot Air Balloon → Marrakech → Train to Tangier
Up, Out & Back
Start before sunrise with a hot air balloon ride over Marrakech, watching the city and the High Atlas wake up beneath you. Spend the rest of the morning exploring the souks, palaces, and hidden corners of the Medina, then board a scenic train back to Tangier to re-embark your ship. One thing to note: you’ll need to purchase your own Marrakech–Tangier train ticket via ONCF or at the station — your tour leader will help you sort it out.
